Old Catton JFC is one of the largest junior football clubs in the Norwich area. Based at the recreation ground off Church Street, Old Catton, the club provides organised opportunities for boys and girls from under 6 to under 16 to play football in a safe, supervised and fun environment.

With over 350 members and 23 registered teams playing in the Norfolk Youth Football Combination and North East Norfolk leagues in the 2008-2009 season the club continues to go from strength to strength.

Established in 1969 the club gained the FA Charter Standard Award in December 2005. This award recognises that the club is organised correctly and efficiently to the highest standards of coaching, administration and child protection it provides for the young people involved. The Charter Standard represents a new and exciting period in Old Catton JFCs development and future aspirations. As a benchmark for quality, the Standard enables us to continue to improve the playing experience for all.

The season starts at the beginning of September and finishes at Easter each year, during which teams train, play games and participate in County Cup competitions. In late May the club hold a presentation night to celebrate the clubs season which is a great get-together for all. This is followed by the clubs summer 5-aside tournament. During the summer months Old Catton JFC teams support other junior football club summer competitions. Whilst the club is run by parents and supporters who give their time freely, all parents are strongly encouraged to play a role in the club.

During the season each age group has a weekly training session either at recreation ground on Church Street or at other venues. At present some of our age groups are full but please do contact the appropriate manager for the age group to discuss availability.

If your child is under 6 please come along for the start of the new season in September.
